Wheelchair Request

Varesh Airlines provides wheelchair assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, passengers with physical disabilities, elderly passengers with mobility difficulties, and passengers who require a wheelchair due to a limb fracture. Passengers can request wheelchair assistance in person by visiting the flight counter for both domestic and international flights, allowing them to travel comfortably and without concern.

How to Request a Wheelchair

  • For international flights: requests can be made up to 3 hours before departure.
  • For domestic flights: requests can be made up to 2 hours before departure.
  • Wheelchair services may not be available if the service capacity has been reached.
Please note: According to Varesh Airlines regulations, a maximum of 10 passengers requiring wheelchair assistance may be accepted in the cabin on each flight. If a passenger requiring wheelchair assistance is unable to move independently, an accompanying person is required throughout the flight.

Wheelchair Service Fees

  • Wheelchair services are free of charge on all domestic Varesh Airlines flights.
  • On international flights, a fee may apply depending on the destination. This fee can be paid in Iranian Rials, US Dollars, or Omani Rials at Varesh destinations.

Passengers Traveling with Their Own Wheelchair

  • If a passenger uses their own wheelchair, the wheelchair will be securely packaged and stored in the aircraft's baggage compartment until the end of the flight.
  • Battery-powered wheelchairs (wet-cell or dry-cell batteries) will be securely packaged for protection and stored in the baggage compartment until the end of the flight.
  • Wheelchairs equipped with removable lithium-ion batteries may be accepted after the batteries are removed, provided that the batteries have a maximum capacity of 300 Wh (or two batteries with a maximum capacity of 160 Wh each). They must be securely packaged and may be stored in the baggage compartment or cabin in accordance with applicable regulations.
