Passenger Baggage
Each airline has specific limits for the amount of baggage passengers are allowed to carry. Any baggage exceeding the permitted limit will be considered "excess baggage."
Domestic Economy Flights: 20 kg
International Economy Flights: 20 to 30 kg
Premium Economy: 30 kg
Economy Plus: 40 kg
Please note: The maximum permitted dimensions for carry-on baggage
in the aircraft cabin are 22 × 40 × 55 cm, and its maximum weight
is 7 kg.
Important!
The following prohibited items are not permitted in carry-on baggage or inside the aircraft cabin:
- Flammable liquids and materials, including excessive amounts of perfume, alcohol, thinner, and fire-starting materials
- Any type of gas, spray, or gas cylinder
- Gasoline and kerosene lighters, matches, igniters, and alcohol
- Sharp and cutting tools, including knives, scissors, blades, throwing stars, and similar items
- Anesthetic and sleep-inducing substances, stun devices, and pepper spray
- Toxic and anesthetic drugs, narcotics, and psychotropic substances
- Plant and animal poisons, pesticides, and insecticides
- Radioactive materials and any radiation-emitting equipment
- Large or damaged lithium batteries
- Magnetic dangerous goods, lithium-metal batteries, and lithium-ion batteries

Excess Baggage Charges on Varesh Airlines
- Domestic flights: Excess baggage charges are calculated based on the flight route and include 10% value-added tax.
- International flights: Excess baggage charges vary depending on the flight route and may be calculated based on the destination's local currency (Rial/USD, etc.).
- Payment of excess baggage charges: Payment must be made in person at the flight counter. The excess baggage amount will be calculated and, after payment, the passenger's baggage will be accepted and a baggage tag will be issued.
